Recent Donations

Please note: We cannot donate any funds to an individual nor to any private companies, only to NHS organisations, Charities and local Voluntary Organisations.

In the last five years we have supported local communities to provide over 45 Defibrillators across the area. Almost all the area is now covered, but we are open to suggestions for new locations. Currently we are working on a publishable map, that will show all the active Defibrillators in this area.

• We have donated £10,000 to the Bracken Trust to establish an ‘outreach’ centre, in Llanwrytd Wells Surgery.

• An annual donation is given to Builth Wells Community Support, in helping local people attend hospital appointments. In the last two years we have donated a total of £24,000 to help support the expansion of BWCS services. We have committed to continuing this donation for the next two years.

• Support has been given to the Age Cymru Nail Service , held in Glan Irfon.

• Equipment for the Community Nurses.

• Donations of £50 to all local Primary Schools, with pupils from this area, for any outdoor activities.

• We made donations to BWCS, Llanwrtyd CS, the local Town and Community Councils and YFC during Covid lockdowns.

• Donated a Blood Screening device and a ECG machine for use by the local GPs.

A new scheme has just been set up, for small donations, of £50, to help local projects, that have a health ‘theme’, such as supporting a local dance group, or school garden or youth club or pensioners visits.

We are very open to any ideas, that will enhance local healthcare.
